Brown hare
Brown hareI had a wonderful encounter with this brown hare. As i patiently sat, watching a set, there were a couple of distant hares chasing each other. They came my way and had a bit of a boxing match. Then one of them, still unaware of my presence came very close, probably about ten feet away when I took this shot. Then the wind changed direction, it picked up my sent and heard the shutter and was soon far away!
Moose

Chipmunk
ChipmunkIn 2018, I had my first trip to the USA and managed to get five days in the Sierra Nevada, predominantly Kings Canyon and Yosemite Valley. One the wildlife I was most looking forward to seeing was chipmunks. Little did I know, how frequently I would see them! Adorable and characterful creatures.
