PosingShort eared owl. A very fortunate encounter with this wonderful bird. I had packed up on a landscape outing and was driving away when I spotted the owl perched. I was able to park up one hundred metres or so away, swop lens and crawl the car back. It never left the spot. I took several photos and left it in peace.
